I delivered a whole day's training with Invictus Wellbeing, in Halifax, in October 2025. Here's what the attendees said about the training:

Cloudy Mountain
"The training was absolutely brilliant! It provided a completely different way of understanding hearing voices, which I now realise is horribly misunderstood within traditional psychiatry. I feel so enlightened and optimistic about working with people who hear voices, even though I felt anxious about doing so beforehand."

I delivered half a day's training with Mind in Bradford (MiB) on 9th September 2025 . The training was organized by MiB's Youth in Mind service in partnership with other charity organizations in the local area, including Brathay, Barnardos and Inspired Neighbourhoods . Here's what the attendees said about the training:

Cloudy Mountain
"Really informative. Everyone needs this training, mental health practitioner or not! I now see a wider view of hearing voices (than the medical model). What I've Iearned is the key connection of hearing voices to trauma, and the importance of not just suppressing voices with tablets, which won't enable someone to live a fulfilling life. I now feel much more confident in supporting clients hearing voices in a psychosocial way - something that I never thought possible!"

I delivered two days of individual training on voice hearing at Bradford University in July 2022. Here is what the participant said about it:

"I found the training to be extremely stimulating, exciting, and engaging. My mind was blown! James is a great teacher, the real-life examples help to consolidate the knowledge as you go, he explains everything methodically and clearly and elicited feedback throughout to ensure the content was helpful for me. I felt so inspired after the training that it reminded me exactly why I got into mental health nursing and I feel so excited to start working on wards again so that I can utilize this knowledge not only to support people with voices but also hopefully positively influence colleagues who may not have this knowledge. I also love how trauma-informed the training was. James is so passionate which made the training all the more engaging. I couldn't recommend this training and James enough. Thank you!"
